Day -01 London

On arrival at London airport/station, you will be transferred to the hotel. Check-in and spend your day exploring the beautiful city of London. For the one who has an eye for the beauty of landscape, London is the most delightful city in the world. It serves as the charming capital city of the United Kingdom and England, and earns fame for a lot of fabulous reasons. Modernity and classic elements combined together in this city are worth exploring. If you are a shopaholic, head towards Oxford Street, which is famous for the ever-famous Selfridges and other big department stores. It is worth to visit the world-famous departmental store named Harrods, which is situated in the bustling retail district of Knightsbridge.

Later, head back to your hotel and relax.

Day – 02 London Sightseeing

After a healthy breakfast, start your day with a Hop on-Hop off tour arranged by the ‘Original London sightseeing tour’, on a double-decker bus. Three different sightseeing routes are offered with this tour, which includes Walking Tours and Kids Club. The ticket also includes beholding numerous attractions along the bank of River Thames by taking the Thames River Cruise. All these tickets are valid for a period of 24 hours.

Afterwards, you will see the Buckingham Palace, which is the Queen’s official residence in London. It was originally built in 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham, and is now used as a venue to receive and entertain guests for the state and the Royal Family.

Head to see the Palace of Westminster, which is the merging place of the two Houses of Parliament of the UK. The chiefly-Gothic Westminster Abbey nearby is amongst the most recognized religious edifices in the country and is the main venue of several royal ceremonies.

After appreciating the beauty of edifices in Westminster, you will move towards the Tower of London, which a significant structure depicting the military conquest of England in the mid-11th century. Later, witness the immensely appealing and most-famous road junction of London – Piccadilly Circus. It is known for its neon signs and amazing video display techniques as well as the Shaftesbury memorial fountain and the famous statue of Anteros.

As the afternoon approaches, you take a tour to visit Madame Tussauds wax museum. It is undoubtedly the most popular tourist attraction in the city of London. Generally, queues of visitors can be seen outside Madame Tussauds to see the amazing waxworks of the most-famous people in the world. The waxworks are those of the kings, queens, politicians, stars and sometimes, even famous criminals.

You will also get a chance to explore the iconic Ferris wheel named the London Eye. From its capsules moving at a slow speed, you can enjoy spectacular vistas of the city and its attractions. In the evening, you can enjoy a tour at Leicester Square, which lies in the heart of London. Day -03 London – Edinburgh

After a delicious breakfast, transfer to the station/airport. You can take train / Flight to Edinburgh.
It is the capital city of Scotland, not since the present times but the 15th century. Recognized as the UNESCO City of Literature, Edinburgh has a stronghold in several other creative fields. The active arts scene and colourful festivals further add to its glory, which is hugely credited to its history and architectural heritage.

From the station/Airport, you will be transferred to the pre-arranged hotel where you will be staying for next two nights of Edinburgh’s trip.

Day -04 Edinburgh Sightseeing

Post breakfast, you will start your day’s excursion with a Hop on-Hop off sightseeing tour of Edinburgh by bus. This city is a vibrant and innovative centre for commerce and finance. It boasts some of Scotland’s finest galleries and museums including the National Museum and the National Galleries of Scotland. You will be taken to visit Edinburgh’s medieval heart, which is named as the Old Town. Its arterial road is the iconic Royal Mile, which runs along the majestic Edinburgh Castle, down to the Holyrood Palace and Holyrood Abbey.

After visiting the charming Old Town, you will move forward to see the graceful Georgian New Town. It is not that new as it was built in the mid-18th century, in response to the overcrowding of the Old Town. New Town’s buildings are typically of a neo-classical style that will spellbind you with the aesthetic beauty of their architecture. Later, you will witness the vibrancy of the local history and its events at the famous shopping haunt named Grassmarket. Next, you will head to visit the volcanic plug named Castle Rock, upon which the historic landmark of Edinburgh Castle sits.

Day – 05 Return Edinburgh

After breakfast, it is time for your departure from Edinburgh.

Day – 01 Rome

Upon your arrival at Rome Airport, get transferred to the designated hotel. Day – 02 Rome Sightseeing

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of the city. Day- 01 Arrive in Paris

Upon arrival in Paris, you will be greeted by our tour manager.

Paris is the beautiful capital city of the French Republic that is widely praised for its rich heritage and history. This ever-charming city is the most populous one across the nation and also one of the most-visited in terms of international tourism. In continuous habitation since pre-historic times, this place holds significance in terms of civilization, history and archaeology. In contrast with the antiquity of this city is its vibrant cosmopolitan facet, which is evident from its fame as a fashion capital, transport hub and literature centre. The city is home to some iconic edifices and structures, which are associated with its religion, history and culture. Afterwards, check into your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day – 02 Guided City Tour of Paris – Visit to Louvre Museum – Climb Eiffel Tower – Level II – Boat Cruise on River Seine – Grand evening in Paris with Lido Show and Illumination Tour (Optional)

In the morning, you will be served a tasteful continental breakfast, following which you will be taken for a guided city tour of Paris. During this excursion, you will visit some of the finest sites situated here that are known all over the world for their grandeur.

Visit the grand Arc de Triomphe, which is a 19th-century monument dedicated to people who lost their lives during the course of the Napoleonic and French Revolutionary wars. A tour of the famous Concorde Square will remind you of the architectural achievements and brilliant town planning of the Parisians. Les Invalids, the conglomeration of museums and monuments, is an un-missable location in Paris and is dominated by the Baroque style of architecture. Next, proceed to Palais Garnier, the renowned opera house that is commonly known as Opera Garnier and is a major landmark here. An exploration of the city remains incomplete without taking a walk through the Champs-Elysees Boulevard, which is dotted with plush restaurants, luxury outlets, bars and theatres.

One of the most prominent attractions to be visited during the day is The Louvre, which is housed within the medieval-era Louvre Palace and is counted amongst the largest museums across the globe. It houses precious art and historic collections, which are beheld and admired by millions every year. The entrance to the premises is through the magnificent glass and metal pyramid by I.M. Pei. Once inside this museum, do not forget to take a look at some iconic artworks and sculptures, such as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the armless Venus de Milo and Madonna of the Rocks.

As the evening approaches, you will be taken to the Eiffel Tower – the international and cultural icon of Paris. It is named after Gustave Eiffel, who was the engineer behind its construction and planning. Constructed in the 1880s as the entrance to the World’s Fair, this iron lattice structure is recognized as the most-visited paid monument across the globe. You will be taken till the second level of the tower that provides a stunning view of the city. Later, go for an evening boat cruise on River Seine that will be followed by a lavish Indian dinner. Afterwards, you can enjoy a burlesque Lido Show and head for a mesmerizing Illumination Tour of Paris. As the evening comes to an end, retire to the hotel room for a refreshing overnight sleep.

Day – 03 Drive from Paris to Geneva – Orientation Tour of Geneva

Soon after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Geneva in Switzerland. A global city, Geneva is the second-most populous in the country and is situated between the mountain chains of the Jura and the Alps. This city has gained importance in the global arena, since it houses many international organizations, including Red Cross and headquarters of different agencies of the United Nations.

On reaching Geneva, proceed towards the Palace of Nations, which is situated in Ariana Park and serves as the home to the United Nations Office. Click pictures at this place and admire the architecture of the buildings, which have notable significance in Europe. Thereafter, proceed for an orientation tour of the city, during which, you will get a chance to visit Floral Clock, Jet D’eau and Lake Geneva.

Created in 1955, Floral Clock is dedicated to the watchmakers of the nation. More than 65000 shrubs and flowers are planted together to form this unique watch. It was the largest of its kind with a diameter of 5 meters until June 2005, when a 15-metre flower clock was installed in Tehran. Jet D’eau, a popular landmark of Geneva, is a huge fountain and listed among the largest ones in the world. Per second, about 500 liters of water are jetted towards the skies that reach to a height of 140 meters. The fountain is a sight to watch and taking pictures of it is a must.

Lake Geneva, spread over an area of around 8.14 square miles, is a freshwater water body. There are many attractions on its shore, including Lake Geneva Yacht Club, Big Foot Beach State Park and Yerkes Observatory. Spending time at its peaceful shore can be an amazing experience, especially for nature lovers. After the orientation tour, visit an Indian restaurant for dinner. Thereafter, proceed to the hotel, check-in and stay overnight.

Day – 04 Drive from Geneva to Broc to Zurich / Engelberg

After a delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards the village of Broc, which lies between the Vanils summits and La Gruyere Lake. The place is known for being home to the famous Maison Cailler factory of chocolate making.

On reaching Broc, proceed towards the chocolate factory and enjoy an interactive guided tour, which will enable you to understand the making of Swiss chocolates. Also, during the tour, you will be told about the history of the factory from 1898 till the present time. After the tour, you can taste these chocolates while the enthusiastic ones can buy them from the factory shops, where a range of these can be purchased.

Afterwards, proceed towards the beautiful city of Berne, which is the de facto capital of Switzerland and the capital of the Bern canton. The historic old town of the city was acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 1983. The city is situated in the Bern canton, on the Swiss plateau, and was originally established on a hilly terrain, encompassed by Aare River.

Upon arrival in Berne, go for an orientation tour of the city, by visiting popular attractions, namely the Clock Tower, Barengraben and Bundeshaus.

Clock Tower, a landmark of the city, was constructed in the early 13th century and since then has served as a prison, guard tower, civic memorial and centre of urban life. It is also known by the name Zytglogge and is a heritage site of the city.

A popular attraction of Berne, Barengraben is a pit where bears are kept. This Swiss heritage site of national significance now serves as a supplement to the BarenPark, which lies alongside the Aar River and has a larger area.

Bundeshaus or Federal Palace is the place that houses the Swiss Federal Council and Swiss Federal Assembly. Inaugurated in 1902, this building is a masterpiece by the architect, Hans Auer.

After completing the tour, proceed towards Zurich/Lucerne. Later, proceed to the hotel in the Zurich/Lucerne area for an overnight stay.

Day – 05 Suggested optional tour to Jungfraujoch including Indian lunch and orientation tour of Interlaken

After enjoying a delicious Continental breakfast, spend the rest of the day at leisure in the hotel. Alternatively, you may choose the optional excursion to Jungfraujoch, often called the ‘Top of Europe’. It is the highest railway station in the continent of Europe as it lies at an elevation of 3453 m above mean sea level. To reach this place, you will have to take a train that passes a 7.3 km tunnel. On reaching, you will be mesmerized to the core as the panoramic view of the landscape of the region is simply breathtaking.

Later, proceed towards Interlaken. This famous resort town lies between the lakes of Brienz and Thun, in the heart of Alps Mountains. A popular retreat for winter sport enthusiasts, this small town, over the years, has become a popular spot for Bollywood moviemakers.

Later, to the hotel in Lucerne/Zurich/Interlaken area for an overnight stay.

Day – 06  Departure from Zurich. Suggested Optional – Visit Mt. Titlis, ride the Ice Flyer, Orientation tour of Lucerne

After savouring a continental breakfast at the hotel, check- out of the hotel and you can spend the rest of the day at the hotel or explore nearby places. Those who wish to do much more can choose for an excursion to Mount Titlis, a glacier destination that is known as the snowboard paradise and the biggest ski area in the central part of Switzerland. The only way to reach the top of this mountain is by cable cars, and the journey on these cable cars gives an opportunity to witness the beauty of the picturesque region, characterised by snow all around with patches of lush green meadows in between. Towards the latter part of the journey, you would sit in the first rotating cable car of the world, known as the Titlis Rotair.

On reaching the destination, you can enjoy and play in the snow, visit the Ice Grotto or simply spend time at the restaurant and enjoying the beauty of nature. Thereafter, you can head to the terrace of the Mount Titlis summit station to take a ride of the Ice-Flyer (if weather permits). It is an enclosed ski life that comes down a few metres from the mountain top.

Proceed towards the highest suspension bridge in Europe – Titlis Cliff Walk – that is 100 metres long and lies at an altitude of 3000 metres above mean sea level.

Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. Thereafter, proceed for a guided city tour, during which you will get a chance to witness some man-made wonders, such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe and Concorde Square.

Start the tour with a visit to Arc De Triomphe – a monument that has been built to commemorate the sacrifice of those soldiers, who fought in the Napoleonic wars and the French Revolution. Until the completion of Monumento a la Revolución in Mexico, in 1938, this 50-metre high structure had the feat of the tallest triumphal arch. Day – 03 Drive from Paris to Amsterdam

Have a delightful continental breakfast and later, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Amsterdam. Afterwards, continue the journey towards Amsterdam, which has several surprises in store for you.

Day -01 Arrive in Lisbon

As soon as you arrive in Lisbon – the capital of Portugal – meet our  tour manager , who will assist you further. Take a road journey to your hotel. Among the oldest and the largest cities of Europe, Lisbon has panoply of surprises for tourists. Gothic cathedrals, vintage trams, quaint museums and majestic monasteries, beautifully cover the cityscape.  On reaching the hotel, complete all the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Day – 02 Tour of Lisbon – Visit Sintra, Cascias Bay, Estoril and Hell’s Mouth (Boca do Inferno)

Following healthy Continental breakfast, leave the hotel for a guided tour of Lisbon.

Start your tour from the imposing Belem Tower – an icon of the Age of Discovery. The construction of this quadrangular edifice was commissioned by King John II as part of a defense system on the bank of the Tagus River. A fine example of Portuguese Manueline style, this 16th century tower is cited as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Continue your tour by visiting the Moorish Citadel, settled on the hilltop overlooking the city. Popularly known as St. George’s Castle or Castle of Sao Jorge, it dates back to the 6th century AD. Next attraction to witness is the impressive Black Horse Square, also known as the Commerce Square or Palace Square. This majestic square was once the main maritime entrance to the Lisbon city, which still has steps leading from the Tagus River. The square has statues of famous personalities of Vasco da Gama and Marquês do Pombal, in addition to the equestrian bronze statue of King Jose I.

Later, you will be proceeding to the picture-postcard town of Sintra that has bewitched visitors for centuries. The town is famous for its seamless 19th century European Romantic architecture and splendid gardens, which has got it a place in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Admire the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean while driving towards Pena National Palace – the jeweled crown in Sintra. Day – 03 Lisbon – Obidos – Fatima – Coimbra – Orientation Tour of Coimbra

After a palatable Continental breakfast, embark on a road journey to Obidos – among the most romantic destinations in Portugal. A fortified town, it was gifted by King Dinis to Queen Isabel as a token of love on their wedding day in 1282, hence fondly known as the ‘Wedding Present Town’. Its cobbled streets marked with colourful houses, quaint churches and magnificent castle is what make this place as one of Europe’s most romantic medieval villages.

Next proceed to Fatima – a civil parish in Ourem municipality of the Portuguese Centro Region. This place is known for a sanctuary, where Virgin Mary came to meet the three shepherd children – ‘the Three Seers’, Lucia dos Santos, Jacinta Marto and Francisco in 1917. You will be visiting this sanctuary, which is one of the most holy Catholic shrines in the world.

Thereafter, proceed towards Coimbra – famous as among Portugal’s oldest cities. Inhabited from ancient times, it was an important municipality in the Roman era and served as the country’s capital from AD 1131 to 1255. Positioned on a hill facing the Mondego River, the city is marked with exquisite monasteries, whitewashed churches, inviting museums and vibrant cafés. Once you reach this place, you will be taken on an orientation tour of the city.

Day – 04 Coimbra to Salamanca – Visit Salamanca and Avila – Transfer to Madrid

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Salamanca – a gorgeous city in north-western Spain. Continue your journey towards west and reach the Ciudad Rodrigo – a small cathedral city in Salamanca. The most significant of them is the Cathedral and the Castle.

Later proceed to Avila – a town in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon. Owing to its large number of Gothic and Romanesque churches, the town is called as the ‘Town of Stones and Saints’. Being the birthplace of Saint Teresa of Jesus, it also has many sacred buildings associated with her life. The Old Town of Ávila is cited in the UNESCO World Heritage list. After a hearty Continental breakfast, head towards Peniscola to see the sea-lapped medieval castle, filmed in the Hollywood movie El Cid.

Located on the highest point of the city, this old castle was built by the Knights Templar between 1294 and 1307 on the remains of an old Moorish citadel. Then, continue along the bewitching Costa Dorada to Barcelona – the capital city of Catalonia in Spain.

Once you reach Barcelona, meet a local guide, who will assist you through the Gothic Quarter. A part of Ciutat Vella district, it stretches from the Mediterranean seafront to Ronda de Sant Pere and La Rambla to Via Laietana. Stroll around to admire the architectural brilliance of Roman and medieval edifices. The whole area has a distinct old charm attached to it that draws millions of heritage lovers every year.

Later, drive along the Passeig de Gracia, which is known for its amazing modern buildings. Continue driving through the Eixample district to witness Antoni Gaudi’s fantastic construction – the Sagrada Familia Church. It is a large Roman Catholic Church, built in the 19th century, which has been registered in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

In the end, come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day – 10 Departure from Barcelona

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Barcelona-El Prat Airport to board your return flight to home.

  • Events, trade fairs surcharges will be applicable on specific departure dates
